I'm every woman

I was thinking about what it takes to be successful. Many high powered women are willing to move completely out of their comfort zone, disagree with their male colleagues even if it’s not in their best interest, and maintain an incredible level of positive thinking. These women rarely believe a glass ceiling awaits them as they make their way up the corporate ladder. I have to admit, I’m just not in this league. It’s not that I’m uneducated. And yes I’ve tried all the positive affirmations and positive visualization methods. It’s just sometimes I get dragged down by a lot of negative thoughts making me wonder even if I were off the chart success wise would I become a victim of ‘impostor syndrome.’ Impostor syndrome you ask? Well, apparently it’s real, and the people who suffer are mostly women who are not able to internalize their accomplishments, and maintain feelings of being inadequate even though the known facts point to just the opposite. There is actually a quiz by Dr. Valerie Young you can take online. See how you stack up.
