Why do Americans tolerant discrimination? There’s a lawsuit pending by former Merrill Lynch female brokers that Bank of America Corporation, which brought Merrill last year offered them lower retention bonuses then their mail counterparts, and steered wealthier clients to male brokers. Sigh. Thursday’s lawsuit seeks class-action status by lawyers who allege these practices “disproportionately disadvantages women and advantages white men as favored employees.” Read the full article.
