Health Care Reform

There’s a plan unveiled by House Democrats, which imposes 5.4 percent surtax on Americans with $1 million in annual income. In addition new taxes would be levied on households earning over $335,000 a year. All toll the new taxes would raise about $544 billion over the next 10 years, and would be used to fund the largest overhaul of the health care system in the last 40 years. Obama promised he’d make national health care a priority during his campaign last year, and now as president it’s become a goal of his administration. Small businesses will feel some pain as well.
